About DACLAS
Our Mission
Currently operating in the Cheshire West and Chester region, DACLAS strives to improve the victim experience in private child law cases where domestic abuse (DA) is alleged. We aim to help victim parents achieve the best outcome possible for their children in private child law arrangements.
What We Can Do
At DACLAS, we provide moral support for litigants, advise on navigating the private child law process where domestic abuse is an issue, and, where appropriate, help with the preparation of the case.
What We Can't Do
There are some things we can't do at DACLAS. These are, acting as your agent in relation to the proceedings or managing your case outside court, for example, by signing court documents. Nor can we address the court, make oral submissions or examine witnesses on your behalf.
